Hadeem Contracting of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Joins U.S. Industry Coalition

WASHINGTON (Apr. 6, 2010) – The U.S. Industry Coalition , a non-profit association that assists members in gaining access to markets, technologies and commercialization resources, is proud to announce that Hadeem Contracting Co. of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia has joined its membership ranks. Hadeem Contracting is a large construction and general contracting company established in 1995 by Nasser Abdulaziz Almobarak, who holds a master’s and a doctorate in city planning from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a master’s degree in architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Hadeem has built government, residential and commercial projects throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ventures include six health centers in Qassim Region for the Ministry of Health; a number of colleges for the Ministry of Higher Education; Flamingo Commercial Centers; and several large shopping malls and private residences.

Hadeem Contracting is a part of the Castlehouse Group, which includes Qomel Healthcare Company, a pharmaceutical and medical procurement company poised to become a leading distributor in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). (Qomel recently entered an agreement with USIC member Numotech, Inc. to distribute its light-weight, wound-healing Numobag® Kit throughout the GCC.)

USIC President, Gerson Sher, states: “We are very privileged to have Hadeem Contracting Co. as our newest General Member. Hadeem Contracting, which comes highly recommended as a premier construction contractor in Saudi Arabia, breaks new ground for USIC in several ways. Hadeem Contracting is USIC’s first General Member from the Kingdom, the first from the Middle East region, and the first from beyond the borders of the former Soviet Union. Hadeem’s membership in USIC opens up major opportunities for members to build partnerships that will enable them to gain entry into the emerging markets of the Middle East, while contributing to USIC’s mission of promoting peace and prosperity through technology commercialization. We look forward to many years of fruitful cooperation with Hadeem.”
